Overview:

The VidOptic FVT/FVR-2000-USB-DVI is designed to transport DVI computer graphics while extending computer control via USB. With integrated USB hubs on both sides of the link, the VidOptic FVT/FVR-2000-USB-DVI goes far beyond a standard remote desktop allowing the easy addition of other peripherals such as printers, scanners or even web cams. All on two multi mode fibers.

The video transport section supports a high–quality DVI-D interface and will significantly increase the transmission distance limitations of high resolution DVI video and computer graphics over multi mode fiber. The VidOptic FVT/FVR-2000-USB-DVI will automatically collect EDID information from the display and adjust accordingly to give you plug and play convenience.

The VidOptic FVT/FVR-2000-USB-DVI system will transport virtually any VESA-compliant DVI signal from 640×480 VGAup to and including 1920×1200 WUXGA. Standard 24-pin DVI connectors are provided at each side of the link. HDMI is supported via an included adapter cable.

Each end also incorporates an integrated USB 2.0 hub for all of your peripherals for easy connection convenience and less desktop clutter. Do you use high-powered devices on your USB Bus? The RX unit supplies up to 500mAper output and solves that problem, too. All USB connectors are standard “A”type.

As with all VidOvation products, rack kits are available for rack mounting up to three units in a single RU. And for your optical connections, choose between ST, FC, SC or LC for easy integration into your fiber backbone.
