NXG Pro: Idiom QAM Module MPTS

The NXG-PI-QAM (Pro: Idiom Encryption Module for QAM – Supports MPTS) is part of the Blonder Tongue NeXgen Gateway platform that adds Pro: Idiom encryption (digital content protection) to HDTV signals.

The NXG-PI-QAM module inputs MPEG-compliant transport streams through the NXG IP backplane. The Pro: Idiom encryption is added to a Multiple Program Transport Stream (MPTS) format and the encrypted video content is then routed via the NXG IP backplane to the desired QAM outputs for distribution.  The NXG-PI-QAM is designed for compatibility with only the NXG QAM Modulator module.
