Ultrix I/O Cards
Ultrix platforms are built with a modular input and output matrix, to easily swap in unique I/O cards that build upon the Ultrix feature set. All these cards are compatible with each other on a single chassis and allow you to customize your Ultrix Hyperconverged Platform to serve as a 12G-capable router, multiviewer, and signal processing platform, a hybrid-IP switcher, or a signal-processing hub.
The core I/O board for the Ultrix family provides unparalleled power and performance for signal routing, processing, and multiviewers for baseband audio, as well as video signals from 270Mb/s to 12Gb/s:

- Full TDM audio processing, embedding, and deembedding standard
- Clean/quiet switching on every output standard

Ultrix IP-IO cards introduce IP streams to the Ultrix platform, while maintaining all the powerful features and licensing capabilities of the HDB-IO cards:

- SMPTE-2110 transport standard
The Ultrix IPX-IO cards are designed to seamlessly integrate SMPTE ST-2110 IP streams into the Ultrix platform, without compromising on its powerful features and licensing capabilities. The cards offer scalability and high total bandwidth, making them suitable for a range of IP applications.

The Ultrix MODX-IO is a base I/O card that can be populated with up to four MOD-SFP sub-modules. For applications where signal counts are changing and growing, populating modules as needed offers a flexible, pay-as-you-go approach. The MODX-IO offers the same processing abilities as other Ultrix cards while adding an extra degree of I/O flexibility.

The SDPE blade is a powerful production solution that combines the routing and processing resources of Ultrix with the advanced effects capabilities of Ross Production switcher technology.
- Blades can be configured to be either an Acuity or Carbonite production switcher.
- Capable of alternating between an Acuity or a Carbonite based via software configuration
- Available in either a 2RU, 5RU, or 12RU chassis
- Ultrix SDI, IP, and SFP I/O boards can be mixed in the same frame

Ultrimix-MXR
Software Enabled Virtual Audio Mixer
To enhance the Ultrimix audio smart fabric even more, Ultrix has also introduced the world’s first software-enabled audio mixer in a router platform: Ultrimix-MXR. Ultrimix-MXR is a 128×64 virtual audio mixer that can be partitioned into multiple smaller mixers, and features a 4-band parametric equalizer, noise gate and compressor/limiter on every input. It is fully routable, which allows access to every input in the system and can send mix outputs and processed inputs to any output in the frame, providing tremendous flexibility for audio workflows. It is easy to configure and control via DashBoard or Ultritouch hardware control panels.
