OVERVIEW

The VidOptic FVT/FVR-3600 Series have been designed for OB operators and anyone who needs to trunk multiple uncompressed SDI signals over fiber. Never before has a multi-channel SDl-over-fiber system been so easy to use AND so portable. In just one RU, you can transport up to 18 SDl signals up to 3 Gbps without compression on a few as just three single mode fibers.

The VidOptic FVT/FVR-3600 Series uses LED’s to indicate signal presence and optical link status while utilizing a color OLEO display and button cursor to provide easy monitoring and plain language descriptions of all essential system parameters and re-clocking on/off control. Since the SDI signals are not compressed, they can be used in conjunction with other
VidOvation SDI transport components to create custom signal topographies including point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links.

The VidOptic FVT/FVR-3600 features a 1:1 ration between SDI signals and optical fibers. For facilities where fiber is abundant, this is, by far, the most econmical solution available.

If fibers are at a premium, the VidOptic FVT/FVR-3601 uses an integrated CWDM passive optical multiplexer to get those six signals onto just one fiber. By Integrating the CWDM we eliminate the need for external patching. The VidOptic FVT/FVR-3600’s can also be factory configured for 6 to 18 signals in one direction, or any combination of FVT and FVR to adapt to any signal requirement.

These can be used as stand-alone devices or as a 1 RU units. So whether you are optimizing your fibers within a permanent campus or studio infrastructure, linking a B and OB unit together or getting the most out of available fibers at the stadium, we have
