Shannon Jachetta is chief executive officer of the Women Business Owned Enterprise (WBE), VidOvation – Moving Video Forward. Shannon leads a team of Passionate Problem Solvers in the AV/Broadcast industry by using world-class technology to make the “Impossible” and “custom” a cost-effective, user-friendly solution aligned with the goals of their clients.

Before establishing VidOvation in California, Shannon owned and managed her design and consulting firm in NY. Shannon conducted market research and negotiated contracts with vendors and suppliers. She helped her clients go from “Concept to Completion” on time and under budget, to lead the company towards profitability.

Before starting her business in NY, Shannon became the first woman appointed to a General Manager position at large Fortune 500 company in Manhattan. She was an integral team leader who helped take the company public, creating and managing annual revenue streams of 5 million dollars for each key location. Shannon was tasked with projections, improving logistics and inventory control, directly interfacing with the Corporate Office Executives, marketing initiatives, legal executives and increasing profit margins. She was also the head of hiring, training and promoting a team of 50 employees.

Shannon started working early in life, honored to be chosen from her High School Drafting Club VICCA to work in the Engineering Department for the City of Palm Springs in which she helped plan out new streets and roads. While Shannon was attaining her Bachelors of Arts & Sciences degree from San Diego State University, she secured a paid internship at Cooper Engineering. Her responsibilities were generating RFQ’s and RFP’s for Public Works and Government projects. She conducted site surveys for municipal projects and was involved in CAD design and drafting.
